John Penrose, the Tourism & Heritage Minister, will soon unveil new Ludlow Touring Park at his visit at Shropshire in a few days.
Philip Dunne, the local MP will be accompanying the Minister during the morning visit at touring luxury caravan & motor home park. Morris Leisure has made 135 pitches park, it opens to public from May 9th, to standards of five star.
It’s located o
n twenty acres site along side River Teme along with good links of road to A49 near Richards Castle & represents investment of about GBP 3 million by company. Morris Leisure also has funded the realignment works for A49 junction; it is part of new development.
This park will be open for Ludlow Spring Food Festival at May 12th & 13th and it will offer about 140 of good food, real ales, big display of the classic cars & music in side Ludlow Castle.
Edward Goddard the MD or managing director at Morris Leisure said that it is exciting time for every one who is associated along with this new park & they are delighted about the fact that Tourism & Heritage Minister has time with his really busy diary for paying a visit. He also said that they believe that the park will enhance offer of local tourism & generate about GBP 1 million per year for the Ludlow & surrounding area; this is good news for local economy in the challenging times.
