Newmar Corp. recently rolled out their 2013 product line up to the consumers in Good Sam Rally at Louisville, Ky., which was completed recently & @ the Newmar Kountry Klub Rally at Gillette, in Wyo. Sources on the Internet say that Nappanee, Ind.-based builder had placed emphasis of design on the bolder colors & more of eye appeal for the new line of products.
Highlighting change of product was life-cycle total redesign of Dutch Star Class A motorhome. 1 of Newmar’s brands that are best known, Dutch Star has new cap on the front along with grill of stainless steel & accent LED lighting, new design of hood having hidden hinges & heavier duty wind shield system of wiper having more area of coverage.
Rear cap too is redesigned & it features automotive new taillights along with accents of LED. 4 distinct, choices of exterior graphics allow the customers to choose from different colors & each of the graphics include 5 different colors having blended “fades” paint. The improvements on the interior include 3 choices of wood, hidden hinges for all the cabinetry& new designer mitered doors of cabinet having glazing. The other setting amenities in interior are the polished tiles of porcelain having glass inserts, counter tops of solid surface & new design of backsplash along with cut-glass.

The additional upgrades on the interior include feature ceiling that is added to bedroom for all the floor plans & soffit along with halogen standard lighting that is added to slide of full-wall floor plan. Several former options got standard for 2013 model year like auto gen start, electric patio Weather Pro awning, Oasis door of power entry awning & cameras of side-view. Dutch Star is has ten floorplans in the lengths of 37, 40 & 43 feet. 37-footer gets powered by 400 ISL Cummins on chassis of Freight liner, and 40-foot & 43-foot models get equipped along with 450 ISL Cummins on platform of Freightliner.
There are other features for several floorplans which include L-shaped Flexsteel Extenda-Flex sofa & 46-inches Sony television on mechanism that is electronic powered which lowers or raises television from behind sofa or fire place. Pat Terveer, the director of the product planning, luxury sales, & design at Newmar says that before these rallies, all of the people at Newmar are really excited regarding all of the new 2013 Dutch Star. He also said that the results had indicated the excitement was really spot-on, as customers and dealer alike have shared the acceptance for major changes. They are expecting Dutch Star for experiencing good growth in the sales that is based on the earlier results.
