In what’s expected for becoming annual tradition, Keystone RV Co, a Goshen, Ind.-based firm welcomes the Big Brothers Big Sisters from Elkhart County to weekend of the RV camping @ Twin Mills Camping Resort at near by LaGrange County from June 8th-10th.
Event of Kamp Keystone will be offering children (“Littles”) & the mentors (“Bigs”) one opportunity for enjoying outdoors at comfort through use of the Keystone campers, says the news release.
Kamp Keystone got started in the year 2007 as way for employees of Keystone for actually using & enjoy RVs that they make, while providing some valuable feedback of product to company. In this year Keystone had decided to take things one step further by inviting the Big Brothers Big Sisters for joining in fun.
Matt Zimmerman, the President at Keystone RV says that Kamp Keystone is one more way for this company for giving back to community. Zimmerman says that The Keystone family is 1 of largest contributors to Elkhart County United Way. For throwing doors open for Kamp Keystone; they would do more. As father of 2 young boys, he personally believes that camping with family is 1 of best investments that you should make. From Kamp Keystone they are expecting to make some positive contribution for lives of young people.
Strength of program of BBBS lies with in opportunities where the ‘Bigs’ can be positive example for their ‘Littles.’ The experiences are enhanced when the ‘Littles’ get exposed to the things which they never even knew had existed. This was said by Stephanie Patka, the Executive Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters. For a lot of the ‘Littles,’ Kamp Keystone will be first exposure for camping along with activities like fishing, roasting, hiking, & swimming marsh mallows. They are thrilled for partner along with Keystone & believe that this weekend will give tremendous experience for the ‘Littles’ which will last for lifetime.
