By end of this year, Pratt Industries is hoping of getting fully operational at the new plant of manufacturing at south west Michigan’s Township of Niles, which will bring about 400 jobs to this area. South Bend, ABC 57, Ind., said that this company isn’t involved in RV industry, making large and industrial trailers for transport of the loads that are non-traditional like building the trusses & the blades of wind turbine.
Jim Kidwell, who is Township Supervisor at Niles Charter said that there is some future & hope now; and hence they are hoping that everyone makes really good on the entire thing. Kidwell looks forward to moving of new business in to this area. It will use long vacant & big building; wages which jobs will pay will solid boost to local economy very well.
Pay will be starting at around $17 per hour & going bigger from there, says Kidwell. Beyond livable wage, new business reuses about 300,000 sq ft building which is sitting empty since the year 2008. Kidwell is concerned that the township will be finding way for taking care of or demolishing building if buyers for it can’t be found. This building was previously owned by the United Fixtures. They had doors in the year 2008, this enormous building was passed around to a lot of realtors, says Kidwell.
Industries of Pratt wants to start runining by end of this year says Kidwell, & this bodes pretty well for the skilled laborers who are searching for job in this summer.
