John Penrose, the Tourism & Heritage Minister, will soon unveil new Ludlow Touring Park at his visit at Shropshire in a few days. Philip Dunne, the local MP will be accompanying the Minister during the morning visit at touring luxury caravan & motor home park. Morris Leisure has made 135 pitches park, it opens to public from May 9th, to standards of five star. It’s located on twenty acres site along side River Teme along with good links of road to A49 near Richards Castle & represents investment of about GBP 3 million by company. Hertz announced that they signed up with UK’s biggest motor home hire company called Just go & will offer motorhomes on hire basis for the domestic & Continental travel. The customers will get to choose from the 5 diesel Fiat & Ford Class C motor home vehicles including Scout, Voyager, Nomad, Rambler, & Explorer. According to the latest reports from the RV world, Crossroads RV will be expanding their North Indiana auto company in Northern Indiana. The expansion program will also include increase of work force. In an announcement made by Crossroads RV, the company proclaimed that they will be spending around $3.9 million for purchase of land and will be developing a brand new 93,000 sq-ft place just along side the present factories of the company in Topeka’s LaGrange County town. Crossroads RV also said that as a result of the expansion, the company might even have to hire an extra 250 workers by the model year 2014. Traveland USA is one of the first shops in USA for RVs and fixtures and services related to them. But according to the latest reports coming in, this historic mall which has been serving RV fanatics for more than 4 decades will not close down for good. Owned and run by The Irvine Co. the Traveland USA will be shot down after the company decided to not lengthen the lease on the 38-acr lot, which has been occupied by Traveland USA at the Sand Canyon Avenue at I-5 freeway since 1973. The Hemet Factory of Skyline RV is supposed to close and around eighty two workers are expected to loose their jobs before April end, says the local spokespersons and a statement the firm registered with the state. The Skyline RV Corporation based in Elkhart, Ind. filed a notification in February with the CEDD (California Employment Development Department) as a move of the Worker Retraining and Adjustment Notice act, which gives the employees around sixty days of notice before any mass lay off takes place or the plant is being closed.
